Rebecca Fellowship
Rebecca Fellowship is a group of women who share a desire to know God better. Our meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 10:00 – 11:30am in the Fireside Room at Gloria Dei.
Our Bible study can be found in Gather, the magazine of Women of the ELCA. Gather offers a mix of articles, theological reflections, devotions and stories of comfort and challenge that help readers grow in faith and engage in ministry and action. Digital issues of the Gather magazine are available to subscribers.
Here’s a snapshot of a typical Bible study:
- We always start out informally with time to chat with other attendees.
- Everyone introduces themselves to the group and shares prayer needs.
- Then we pray and start the discussion from the magazine. We find that prereading the lesson and reviewing the questions really helps to keep the discussion focused. Please don’t stress if you aren’t able to read the lesson ahead. No one is checking! We want this to be a place where you can come and feel refreshed and encouraged. Please join in the discussion no matter what.
Thank you for dropping by and learning more about Rebecca Fellowship! We hope you’ll be part of our fellowship in the months ahead. If you would like more information about how you can join Rebecca Fellowship’s Bible study, please contact Diane Malick through the church office.
Winter/Spring 2025: “Faithfulness in these days”
This Bible study explores our journey of faithfulness which includes doubts and detours, and is not about measuring up or deserving. Everything we have is a gift from God. God’s faithfulness calls us, in turn, to faithfully love God and all neighbors. Because our faithfulness is not a means to salvation, but our response to salvation.
